Colour and create: Living room edition

A new month has begun! How long has the month of May felt like? I pondered for a while as to what should be my next post as; we’re all still spending a lot of time at home and we’re trying to occupy ourselves and our households in that time.

My inspiration has really come from a lot of friends and family members with children of their own. Seeing all their happy faces getting creative over the past few weeks has brought me joy, so I put together a fun activity for the kids to do on their own or with supervision.

This is what you guys can create! It’s very simple! The basics you need are the printouts, a pair of scissors, a glue stick and your favourite colouring pens/pencils of choice. The furniture is moveable, who knows you could have a budding designer in the family?

Here is a tutorial video if, like me, you learn visually and need some more guidance.

You can find the download just below and best of all… it’s absolutely free! 👏🏻

The download will open in a new window, in your browser toolbar find ‘Export to PDF’ and you can save it to your desktop.

Don’t forget to tag your pictures on Instagram @the_coastal_native and use the hashtag #thecoastalnative. I’ll be following it to see all your creations!
